The partitions were designed with two complementary finishes: mirrored panels to reflect light and amplify the sense of openness across the living areas, and acoustic fabric to provide insulation between the living space, the ground-floor office, and the first-floor bedroom.
The mirrored finish captures and multiplies natural light, creating fluid visual connections across different levels, while the fabric surface introduces texture and privacy in more intimate spaces such as the bedroom.
I also worked closely with the contractor to refine the installation, ensuring the cleanest possible closing detail within the site’s architectural constraints. The result is a partition system that not only functions with precision but also blends seamlessly with the home’s bold, contemporary design.
